I think this is his most expensive season, though he took a huge amount of wickets. Maybe flatter pitches/impact batsmen/ generally high scoring rates have emboldened batsmen to take him on. Rather than coast past him like they used to do.
Cool article, Kartikeya. Required run rate isn't a factor in judging the performance. Is the exclusion a way to compare first and second innings scores? Or is your opinion that the RRR should not affect the performance of a batter in a T20 game?
As number of remaining balls decrease, expect e to keep increasing. Is there a w after which e decreases? Is there a limit to how many wickets can be sacrificed in the quest for hitting (say after 5 overs)?
